Me Janick Perreault

Janick Perreault, B.Sc., Dt.p., LL.B., LL.M., Ad. E., is a lawyer since 1994. She focuses her practice on health law, administrative law, especially with regards to matters related to automobile accidents, and civil litigation. She is a member of the Quebec Bar, the Canadian Bar Association and of the Ordre professionnel des diététistes du Québec.

In 2008, Mrs Perreault received the honorary title of Advocatus Emeritus which is a highly prestigious title granted by the Quebec Bar in order to recognize the excellence of its members with an exemplary path.

Mrs Perreault holds a Bachelor of Science degree (in nutrition, 1989) from the faculty of Medicine of Université de Montréal, a Law degree (1993) from the faculty of Political Science and Law of Université du Québec à Montréal (UQÀM) and a Master’s degree in health law (1996) from the faculty of Law of Université de Sherbrooke.

She has taught at both college and university levels and she is a regular guest speaker on various subjects related to health and administrative law.

She is a commissioner on the board of directors of the Commission des services juridiques.

Mrs Perreault sits on several committees of the Quebec Bar; she is a member of the Liaison Board Committee between the Quebec Bar and the Tribunal administratif du Québec, she is also a member of the comité sur la justice administrative, of the working group for the régime de l’assurance automobile du Québec, of the working group for the indemnisation des victimes d’acte criminel and of the working group for the représentation par avocat devant les tribunaux administratifs. In 2008-2009, Mrs Perreault was also a member of the comité de sélection des personnes aptes à être nommées régisseurs à la Régie du logement. Mrs Perreault is also involved in the parliamentary committee.

In her normal course of business, Mrs Perreault is the president of the Committee on Illegal Practice of the Ordre professionnel des diététistes du Québec. She was also trustee for that same order from 1999 to 2008, after having been deputy trustee from 1995 to 1999. She was a member of the advisory Committee and of the supporting group for the Office des professions du Québec for the implementation of Bill 90.

Mrs Perreault has published several articles and books. Her latest book was published by Publications CCH Ltée, in November 2010, Assurance automobile au Québec : L’indemnisation du préjudice corporel des victimes d’accident d’automobile, 3e edition.

Me Corina Theodorescu

Corina Theodorescu, LL.B was admitted to the Quebec Bar in 2010. She focuses her practice on civil litigation and administrative law, including the area of indemnity of victims of automobile accidents. She is a member of the Quebec Bar as well as of the Young Bar Association of Montreal. Me Theodorescu obtained her Bachelor of Civil Law (LL.B.) degree from the University of Montreal in 2009. She is currently completing a Juris Doctor (J.D.) in Common Law.

At the beginning of her career, she practiced in a well-established law firm in Montreal, prior to joining Perreault Avocats.

During her studies, Me Theodorescu worked as a law clerk for a judge at the Court of Quebec. She has also studied at the Faculty of Law of the University of Bologna (Italy) and at the College of Law of England and Wales (London, England) during exchange programs. Having lived abroad, she is fluent in French, English, Romanian, Italian and Spanish. Since her admission to the Quebec Bar, Me Theodorescu has volunteered for the Young Bar Association of Montreal.
